Camp Safety & Standards
Camp Safety is our Number 1 Priority

Safety First
Eurotech® Soccer Academy is dedicated to making the safety and security of your child our number one priority. Eurotech’s commitment to risk management is reflected in the hundreds of camp policies and procedures we develop, update and execute each and every summer. The full-time job of protecting Eurotech® campers also means always being ready for the unexpected. The Eurotech® organization makes it a habit to reevaluate all risk management practices each year, collaborating with experienced risk management professionals to implement the best camp practices at all of our sites.

Risk Management Benchmarks
With an overall average of 8 campers per Eurotech® staff member at every site, our instructor teaching group ratios are also incredibly impressive with an average 1:12 Coaching Staff to Camper ratio for the younger age groups (8-12 years old) and an average ratio of 1:16 for the older age groups (13-18 years old). Our small teaching group sizes allow for crucial 1-on-1 instruction and optimal player development. Only carefully selected staff, mindful of our commitment to risk management, implement our programs.

At Eurotech® Soccer Academy, we have built our reputation on proper teaching ratios combined with vey high quality soccer instruction. Parents notice, our instructors are inspired and campers are always engaged. The quality speaks for itself. Read more about the Eurotech® Difference and our teaching methodology throughout this website.

Each camper always receives an impressive amount of one-on-one attention from our elite coaching staff. All campers are provided with an adidas® soccer ball and a full camp uniform so there is instantly a real "professional academy" feel to the program and a true soccer training environment has been created. This concept allows campers to feel like part of an elite group of players and increases confidence instantly. Campers are always encouraged to learn the game at his or her own pace while our coaches are constantly taking them out of their "comfort zone". This is what the Eurotech® Teaching Methodology is all about. All programs emphasize comprehensive, in-depth, experience-based learning. Each camper will spend the entire week working toward the completion of short term and long term goals. Our attention to detail and desire to be the best has made us the most recommended summer soccer camp of our kind. It is a distinction we are proud of, but not one we take for granted!

Camp Staff Benchmarks
Eurotech® has the most stringent Coaching Staff recruitment process in the soccer camp industry. Prospective coaches and camp directors must undergo a series of telephone and live interviews, currently be working in a professional full-time teaching and/or coaching environment, undergo successful police background checks and have a proven track record with working and coaching young soccer players. Many of our coaching staff are ex-professional players and now work within professional youth soccer clubs and/or college programs. Eurotech® only hires adult coaching staff that are typically ages 24 and up and the average age of our staff in recent years has been 38 years old!

Eurotech® does not utilize "Counselors-in-Training" or "College Kids" as the primary instructors to cut corners like most of our competitors do. Eurotech® typically does, however, utilize CIT’s or what we call "Coaches-in-Training" to assist our primary instructors and Coaching Directors. Many of our CIT’s are former campers themselves and current college players who have a true desire to get into coaching when their playing careers are complete. Eurotech staff appreciate and value the quality of our programs and many staff return every year - the average number of years that a majority of our staff has been with us is 9 years and many come back again after a summer or two off to pursue other soccer related adventures!

Eurotech® selects all camp staff very carefully and every site will feature a National Camp Director, Regional Director, Coaching Directors, CIT’s and NATA Certified Athletic Trainers who work in conjunction with campus medical staff and local hospitals on the rare occasion when that level of attention is needed. Most locations also have dedicated staff that work directly with our attendees adding to the overall staff count at each location.

Camp Accreditation

National Camp Association & American Camp Association (ACA) Accreditation
In 2001, Eurotech® Soccer Academy became officially accredited by the National Camp Association as well as being rated by the nationally recognized Student Athlete Foundation as one of the "Best Soccer Camps in America". Eurotech® was also the only soccer camp in the country that voluntarily sought to be accredited by the experts in the camp industry, the American Camp Association, or ACA. The status of ACA Accreditation means that a camp is part of an elite group of summer camps that pass over 300 criteria on health and safety. Because Eurotech® does not own any of the camp facilities and act only as lessees while visiting a campus, the official accreditation by the ACA could not be granted directly to the Eurotech® organization but had already been granted to 99% of the facilities that we use. As a result, we now seek this accreditation as a minimum standard when searching for future Eurotech® Soccer Academy locations and prospective sites. While multiple Eurotech® locations are officially accredited, we uphold the same high ACA standards at every location and as a part of our organization’s risk management, policies and management procedures.

FACT: No summer soccer camp in North America has more sites accredited by the ACA.
