2008 will mark the 18th annual tournament at the stunning grounds of the Royal Holloway College and
Bedford New College, situated in the picturesque Surrey countryside. The tournament site is located
just a few miles from Windsor Castle, one of the Queen’s official residences and within reach of the
bustling city of London. Many additional activities are offered including a nightly disco, farewell
barbeque, sightseeing and daily excursions. Approximately 100 participating teams and its excellent
location make this a valued tournament choice!
 
Royal Holloway & Bedford New College and is situated in the picturesque Surrey countryside. Windsor
Castle, one of the Queens official residences is only a few miles away and is open to the public all year
round. Central London is 40 minutes away by train. For more information on the campus facilities and

Tournament Format
Teams are divided into groups of 4 or 5 with each team playing the other in group games. First and
second teams in each group compete in a knock-out competition. The third and fourth teams in each
group compete in a plate competition. All teams will play at least 4 matches in the tournament.
 
Tournament Facilities
There are 7 playing fields in the picturesque grounds of Royal Holloway, University of London.
 
Age Dispensation
Dispensations may be granted on request.
 
Matches, squads and substitutions
Before their first game, each team must produce a list of players eligible to play, along with
photographic proof of age. This proof should be available for production at each game played.
All matches are played on campus. Residential teams have no travelling to play. Every game
is refereed by 3 officials. All matches are of 1 hour duration.
 
Accommodation
There is a wide range of accommodation options available, on campus there are basic
student, single/double/triple study rooms. There are also campsites, hotels and bed and breakfast
accommodation within a few miles of the tournament.

· Theme Parks including Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventure
· Excursions to Stratford upon Avon, Bath, Stonehenge and Warwick Castle all possible.
