Gothenburg, - December 1, 2007 - In July 2007, Baton Rouge Soccer Association U15 Girls traveled to Europe with Eurotech® Soccer Tours to experience the glitz and glamour of London before playing in the Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden. The club team from Louisiana, coached by BRSA Director of Coaching Marvin Smith, experienced the sights of London including Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, the ’Changing of the Guard’ at Buckingham Palace and many other tourist icons. Group Leader, Janet Holladay said, "the trip was planned as a once in a lifetime event and soon became the most memorable experience for the girls - not only did they see London, but they battled their way to the Gothia Cup Final out of 120 teams in their age group!"
