Aberdeen, Scotland - November 15, 2007 - The event hosted at the club’s Pittodrie Stadium saw a host of key speakers pass on their knowledge and experience to help advise for a career in sport. The key topics were also supported by practical demonstrations from some of top coaches in the area. Furthermore, not only did participants learn about opportunities in Scotland, but also overseas with a presentation on coaching in the USA from Eurotech® - America’s #1 Camp & Tour Company.
Eurotech’s Associate Director, Sander Claassen from Holland flew into Aberdeen for the conference and gave an exciting and motivating presentation on behalf of the company. He was received exceptionally well by the audience who were intrigued by his enthusiasm and guidance on opportunities to coach with Eurotech® in the USA.
Based on the success of the Coach Career Development Day, a second event will take place in Spring 2008 and Eurotech® have again stressed their interest to become involved.
Aberdeen FC finished third in the Scottish Premier League last season and have since qualified for the UEFA Cup group stages.
