Work Visas
All non-U.S. citizens must obtain proper visa documentation through ESC to work in the United States. The ESC Staff Registration Fees cover all administration and processing costs associated with this service. Non-U.S. citizens must a have a valid J-1 Visa or already be in possession of a valid green card. Required J-1 work visa documents and instructions will be forwarded after receipt of the signed ESC Contract Agreement. ESC will guide you through this process
All staff must fully comply with U.S. Immigration requirements and have a valid working visa prior to their departure for the U.S. This will require all ESC staff candidates to attend a mandatory personal interview at the U.S. Embassy in the country of residence. As a result of the heightened security measures in the U.S., participants programs will now be subject to a greater degree of scrutiny from the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization service than in previous years. The time needed to process individual visa applications will be difficult to predict and staff must expect to have their passport with the respective U.S. Embassy for processing for up to 8 weeks prior to their departure for the U.S. Consequently, all staff are required to complete all relevant immigration paperwork within set deadlines and to the standards required. Eurotech® will provide all the relevant forms, guidelines for completion, processing fees and administration. However, any person who has previously been refused a U.S. visa or who has been deported for any reason is highly likely NOT to be allowed a further visa to enter the U.S.

Eurotech® Staff Registration Fees also include required comprehensivetravel/work insurance for the duration of the summer work program. It includesmedical and accident, baggage loss and cancellation/curtailment. Full details of coverage and claims procedures will be covered at the Eurotech® Staff Symposium.
