Campus Overview

Athletic Facilities
The Foxcroft School offers fantastic athletic facilities with acres of soccer fields (2 natural grass fields & 2 brand new 4G turf fields!) as well as the Mary Louise Leipheimer Gymnasium which features a double gym and full size indoor poured rubber fieldhouse which all campers get to enjoy during the heat of the day and during early morning SAQ training and futsal training. This gym also features an indoor track, indoor batting cages and state of the art climbing wall as well. The Fitness Center boasts all the latest cardio equipment as well as a Strenght and conditioning area. Eurotech® also has limited access to Engelhard Gymnasium in the rare case of lightning or bad weather in the area. Campers are encouraged to bring indoor training soccer shoes in case of inclement weather. This stunning campus also has a fully staffed outdoor pool for campers to enjoy at designated times. The main soccer field on campus overlooks horse country and is a camper favorite!

Dormitories/Rooming
Foxcroft School has five main dormitory buildings where campers are housed. The dorms are a very short walk to the fields and Eurotech® campers are housed in air-conditioned dormitories in either twin or in "Bunk Rooms" - a unique concept at Foxcroft that allows campers to stay in modern rooms made for 12 campers! Each floor has a  group shower room and separate bathrooms. Common areas and lounges are featured on each floor with TV’s and kitchenettes. The first floor houses a modern laundry room that is complimentary to campers, guests and staff. A very short walk separates the dorms from a camp favorite game room, snack bar and TV lounges. Roommate requests are typically honored and attending teams and groups of players will always be roomed in adjacent rooms on the same floor whenever possible. Boys and girls are always placed on separate floors, separate wings or separate dorms altogether pending the facility. Multiple Eurotech® Staff are always placed on each floor and provide supervision and support to all campers.

Campus Dining
The Foxcroft Dining Hall is a favorite gathering place for school faculty and camp staff and will be where the campers will eat all their meals during their stay. The modern Dining Center features buffet style meals with several entrees daily, full salad/fruit bar, dessert bar, drink bars and a good variety of health conscious as well as camper friendly foods like pizza, burgers and more throughout the week. There are also drink vending machines in the dormitories and Eurotech® will also offer the Eurotech® Pizza Party for Residential/Overnight campers.

Camp Enrollment
Enrollment at the Virginia camp sessions in years past have sold out and in 2019 each separate week’s enrollment will be limited to the first 60 registered campers. Small groups, teams and individual players from all over Virginia and Maryland will be interested and this season promises to be very strong in attendance. A majority of camp attendees will travel from all over Louden County, Fairfax, McLean, Culpeper, Warrenton, Richmond, Fredericksburg, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Washington DC and other cities in Northern Virginia and Maryland. Enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis and be set-up to guarantee the correct ratio of goalkeepers to field players.

Campus Security
24-hour campus security is also featured and experienced Eurotech® Coaching Staff, Medical Staff, and Counselors live in the dorms and monitor camper activity daily. The school also has a nurse on call and the hospital is a short drive away from campus.

About Foxcroft School
Founded in 1914, Foxcroft School is a college-preparatory boarding and day school for girls in grades 9-12. The school is located on 500 acres in Middleburg, Virginia, 50 miles west of Washington, D.C. It is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools. Foxcroft is, by design, a small, residential school. The 2013-14 student body is 72 percent boarding students with a total of 165 girls from 21 states, Washington D.C., and nine foreign countries. Fourteen percent are U.S. students of color, 20 percent are international students, and about 33 percent receive financial aid. Nearly one-quarter of the students are related to alumnae -- an impressive testament to the relationship between the School and its graduates. Foxcroft curriculum offerings number 81 courses and 12 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, as well as academic support through the Learning Center and the Math and Writing Labs. In in 2010, one-third of the Class of 2011 earned AP Scholar recognition from the College Board; one-fifth earned AP Scholar with Distinction Award status by achieving an average of at least 3.5 (out of five) on all the AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more tests. Nationwide, only 17 percent of students who take AP Exams earn such recognition. (AP Scholars must earn a grade of three or higher on three or more AP Exams.)
