Camp Arrival/Check In Process
Eurotech® Soccer Academy programs begin at 1:00pm on Sunday and end at approximately 4:30pm on Thursday. Extended Day students will attend Sunday from 1:00pm to 8:15pm, Monday–Wednesday from 9:00am to 8:15pm, and Thursday from 9am to 4:30pm. The first meal to be served will be dinner on Sunday.
All Residential and Extended Day students are required to check in on the first day between 1:00pm and 2:30pm. Teams may choose either time slot for "Express Check-In". There will be no registrations prior to 1pm!
If your last name starts with A through M, your check in time will be 1:00-1:45pm.
If your last name starts with N through Z, your check in time will be 1:45-2:30pm.
Please Note: Teams may arrive together as a team and check in together regardless of last name.
A brief Parent/Camper Orientation with a Eurotech® Director will take place at approximately 2:30pm. This brief orientation is MANDATORY for all campers and all parents are encouraged to attend. At this time, the Eurotech® Staff will be introduced, Camp Rules and Daily Schedules reviewed, as well as a Question & Answer session for parents with the Camp Director. The first field session will begin immediately after the orientation. In most cases, signs placed and/or staff on campus will direct campers to the registration site. Extended Day students are required to attend check-in and begin field sessions on the first day. They will be dismissed at the usual pick up time of 8:15pm after the evening tournament matches.
*No payments will be accepted at registration. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the first day of camp!
Roommate Requests
All roommate requests must be made no later than 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp session. Everything possible will be done to accommodate camper’s requests. (However, please note that dorm layouts differ from site to site and may not always allow the possibility of honoring a request). Teams and Groups registering together at the same time must send an official Rooming Request Form to the National Office. Goalkeepers enrolled in our Goalkeeper Academy may room with field players from Eurotech®. Eurotech® will always assign age appropriate roommates if requests are not made. Once at site, no one can change room assignments without permission of the on-site Eurotech® Director. Please note that the camp facilities can change our dorm assignments up to the last minute, therefore Eurotech® typically cannot provide information regarding specific dorm information and room layouts prior to the start of camp.
Accident/Medical Insurance
All participants must be properly covered by their own accident/medical insurance and must indicate such coverage by presenting proof of insurance on the Official Eurotech® Medical Form. There is inherent risk in soccer training, match play and the natural competitiveness that exists between participating players during the week of camp. All medical bills, regardless of their nature, whether for sickness or injury shall be the responsiblity of the camper/guardian and not Eurotech® Soccer Academy.
Homesickness
Experience shows that homesickness can be the number one cause of camper unhappiness. Please discuss with your children ways to alleviate homesickness during the week of camp, such as specific times of the day to speak on the phone or by sending letters or care packages to campers while at camp. Our coaching staff, administrators and camp counselors will do their best to help students through these situations and will always work with parents so that homesickness will not interfere with a positive camp experience. Parents are always welcome to visit their children at camp. Please see our policy below on "Campus Visits by Parents/Coaches."
Written Performance Evaluation
Every student receives an exclusive written Eurotech® Performance Evaluation. This comprehensive evaluation is based on a camper’s performance during his/her week of camp only! It also aids parents and coaches in the formation of a master plan for success in soccer. In addition, it allows players and their coaches the opportunity to put together an off-season training program based on identified strengths and weaknesses. Students involved with Eurotech® programs will understand their progress and will always have the opportunity to train at a higher level within our program. Each camper is given the original form, master copies are not held at the Eurotech® National Office.
