Womens Open Age
The Valtellina Cup is located in a well-known mountain and sports resort near the Italian Alps (Lombardy Region) and close to the border of Switzerland and famous destinations like Saint Moritz. This high quality, smaller tournament typically plays host to 45 teams registered from 8 different nations all over the world. Morbegno, located at the entrance to Valtellina, 248 m. above sea level, is less than 100 Km. from the administrative center of Lombardy and is at the center of a territory which is full of natural landmarks which are still intact.
Tournament Format
All categories will be divided into groups of 4 or 5 teams, will play a minimum of 3 games during the qualifications. At the end 8 teams from each category will go to the ¼ finals. The remaining 8 teams of each category will be included in a 2nd tournament and will qualify to B Finals. Category A: 2 halves of 20 minutes each; Category B & E: 2 halves of 25 minutes each; Category C - D - F - G: 2 halves of 30 minutes each. 24 players can be named per team per day. Seven substitutions are allowed per match. Only 3 over age players are allowed in the match team at any one time.
Tournament Facilities
The Valtellina Cup will take place on the nice grassy soccer grounds in the Valtellina region whose territory is part of the Italian alps. The official tournament heaquarters will be located in Morbegno and the Morbegno soccer stadium is where the final games will take place. Other quality soccer facilities grounds will be utilized in the close towns of Sondrio, Colico, Caspoggio, Chiesa Valmalenco.

A. Boys born on or after 01/01/1997 (3 overage players born ‘96 allowed) 2 x 20 mins
B. Boys born on or after 01/01/1995 (3 overage players born ‘96 allowed) 2 x 25 mins
C. Boys born on or after 01/01/1993 (3 overage players born ‘96 allowed) 2 x 30 mins
E. Girls born on or after 01/01/1994 (3 overage players born ‘93 allowed) 2 x 30 mins
F. Girls born on or after 01/01/1991 (3 overage players born ‘90 allowed) 2 x 30 mins
G. Girls Open age
